Celebrate Westwood’s 6th Annual Arts Walk + Wellness Fair

Exploring the Connection Between Creative Expression

and Mind-Body Wellness

On Saturday, June 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Celebrate Westwood’s ArtsHub and the Westwood Board of Health will bring creativity and wellness together in the heart of downtown Westwood during the 6th Annual Arts Walk + Wellness Fair.

Returning for its sixth year, the event will feature local photographers, illustrators, painters, crafters, health professionals, wellness vendors, and specialists from Westwood and neighboring communities. More than 50 participants will be spread throughout Veterans Memorial Park, located at Broadway and 3rd Avenue, highlighting the connection between creative expression and overall mind-body wellness.

In addition to exploring fine art and handcrafted goods, many available for purchase, attendees will also have opportunities to create their own art through interactive activities hosted by the ArtsHub committee.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can enjoy live music from the Westwood Community Band Jazz Ensemble (12:00–1:00 p.m.) along with acoustic performances by Kimberly Tomaszewski, James Kiernan, Thaddeus MacGregor, Steff Bette, and others. The performances will serve as a preview of Celebrate Westwood’s 6th Annual Music on the Avenues busking series, which takes place on sidewalks downtown every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the summer.

New this year, ArtsHub invites attendees to participate in an expanded Arts Walk experience throughout downtown Westwood. In addition to the displays in Veterans Memorial Park, participating businesses and venues across downtown will showcase artwork and pop-up gallery installations specially curated for the event. A map of participating locations will be available on June 6.

Since 2018, Celebrate Westwood has launched community events and programming including Art in the Park, Music on the Avenues, Westwood-Wide Garage Sales, WestwoodFest, and the Early New Year’s Eve Ball Drop. Its BIZhub subcommittee supports local commercial activity through networking and marketing initiatives, while ArtsHub creates community-centered projects including the annual Gingerbread House Contest and public art installations such as the 2023 Yarn Bomb.

The Westwood Board of Health works to protect and promote the health and well-being of the community through education, outreach, and innovation. Following the success of its inaugural Health Fair in 2024, the Board partnered with ArtsHub beginning in 2025 to create the combined Arts Walk + Wellness Fair experience.
